***BREAKING NEWS***
A Defibrillator has been positioned on the front wall of the Bell Inn for use in emergencies involving Cardiac Arrest. In the event of a suspected cardiac arrest the Ambulance Service will supply a code number for opening the box to the defibrillator in addition to sending an ambulance. Valuable minutes can be saved by using the defibrillator and can mean the difference between life and death. Open evenings will be held in the village to explain how to use the equipment and how to give CPR. Details of these meetings still have to be finalised and will be published on this site and in Village Voices. Leaflets will also be distributed throughout the village. (Posted 13th July 2010)
